After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park in Sarnath, introducing the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path.

The Four Noble Truths are: the truth of suffering, the truth of the cause of suffering, the truth of the cessation of suffering, and the truth of the path leading to the cessation of suffering.

The Eightfold Path, comprising right understanding, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration, provides a practical framework for ethical living, mental discipline, and wisdom. These teachings remain a cornerstone of the Buddha’s Dharma, guiding countless individuals toward liberation.
